We've been leaders in the energy efficiency field for more than 15 years. Our holistic approach involves assessing a facility's overall use of energy, and then developing custom solutions to maximize system operations and drive a level of transformation that leads to significant long-term improvements on energy consumption and performance. Our goal is to become the world's foremost expert in industrial energy management by designing and installing systems that connect energy use with the needs of society.

Our history

It all started with a forward-looking vision of optimizing industrial energy use and transferring waste heat to the community.

ATIS Énergie was established with one goal in mind: providing innovative solutions to make industrial operations more efficient.

Robert La Roche, an engineer with an entrepreneurial spirit, founded the company in 2004. Soon after, he brought in other talented engineers to help get the company off the ground. The team's first success was in the agri-food sector, where they improved the energy efficiency in cheese production plants and integrated solutions to reuse energy produced by biomethanization processes. Today, ATIS Énergie has more than 80 industrial projects and studies to its name and is proud to partner with numerous international companies. Our achievements have been recognized by key industry players including Hydro-Québec, Énergir and the Quebec Ministry of the Environment.
